Welcome from the National Director…….

It is an absolute pleasure to welcome you to the 2024 KidGen Kidney Genetics Symposium. We are honoured to present on the land of the Kaurna people in spectacular Adelaide, once again, alongside the broader ANZSN Annual Scientific Meeting program.

Every KidGen Symposium has taken on a slightly different direction and flavour, with 2024 being no different. With a diverse program including leading local and international voices, the program offers opportunities for learning, insights and growth for so many across the KidGen Collaborative and beyond.

An especial thanks to those involved in organising the Symposium program, including Dr Amali Mallawaarachchi, Dr Chirag Patel and Dr Hugh McCarthy. Further, the program wouldn’t come to life without the invaluable work of the KidGen Program Managers Trudie Harris and Dr Erik Biros without whose tireless assistance the event would not be possible.
